Cleaning & Wellness Screening

At your initial appointment, we will thoroughly review your health history and previous dental history before doing a Comprehensive Examination. Utilizing the latest technology ensures better clinical outcomes, less anxiety, and less time in the office.

Visiting the dentist every six months will help catch minor dental problems before they become big.

TMD & Sleep Apnea

Sleep Apnea and TMD (Temporomandibular disorders) affect many people, disrupting their everyday lives and routines. Sleep apnea affects not only the individual but also their partners by keeping them awake with snoring. TMD, also known as TMJ disorder, often causes chronic facial pain.

We offer a variety of treatments that help ease the complications associated with TMD and Sleep Apnea.

Dental Implants

If you have missing teeth, there are many options for tooth replacement. The next best thing to natural teeth is dental implants. Dental implants look, feel, and function like your natural teeth. Dental implants can make you confident in your smile. And they may also provide a better long-term value than conventional teeth replacement options.

We Offer A Wide Variety Of Dental Services

Cosmetic Dentistry

From teeth whitening and veneers to a complete smile makeover—and everything in between—we offer the dental procedure to give you the smile of your dreams.

Emergency Services

If you are in pain, have lost a tooth, or have suffered an injury to your mouth, call right away. Even if you have not been a patient of ours in the past, we have flexibility during our normal office hours to accommodate emergencies such as a toothache, infection, broken tooth, or injury.

Extractions

We always try to save the natural tooth whenever possible. Sometimes last resort treatment is called for because a tooth cannot be saved. When there is too much damage to a tooth, the only option might be dental extraction—especially if it is putting your other teeth at risk.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants are a great solution for replacing missing teeth. Unlike bridges or dentures that need to be replaced every 10 years or so, Implants are prominent and last a lifetime.

TMD & Sleep Apnea

The quality of your sleep affects your overall health. At Foothills Dental Morganton on Parker Road, we offer sleep apnea solutions to help you get a better night’s rest and improve your overall health.

Periodontal/Gum Therapy

If you suffer from gingivitis or another form of gum disease, Foothills Dental Group offers periodontal therapy to help improve your gum health.

Pediatric Dentistry

Finding a dentist you trust to treat your entire family is important. If you have small children, in particular, you want to know that your dentist enjoys treating kids. At our Foothills Dental Pediatrics location, we treat both adults and children, so you don’t have to go to 2 offices!

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a treatment that removes a damaged or dead nerve and replaces it with an inert material. In most cases, we recommend a crown be placed soon after a root canal in order to maintain the strength of the tooth.

Teledentistry

Life can get busy and finding time to go to the dentist can seem impossible. Foothills Dental offers teledentistry, which is a remote dental appointment. This is a great option for a quick checkup or getting a second opinion on a dental procedure, without having to go into the dentist’s office.

 Foothills Dental Offers Teledentistry

Lack of time keeping you from visiting the dentist? Don’t worry, we offer Teledentistry – a remote appointment that makes it easier to visit the dentist.

Now you can get a dental check-up from anywhere!

Sissy Benfield

“The staff were great. Very friendly and professional. Usually am nervous at thought of having to go to the dentist but they make you feel at ease and comfortable. The facility is very clean and pleasant. Seems homier than just a sterile environment to put you more at ease. The dentist explained very thoroughly what was going on with my teeth. Appreciated that very much. I would recommend anyone to go to this dentistry with teeth issues.”

Your First Visit

We offer personalized dental care by creating an experience that is unique to you and your mouth.

Before we can complete a dental cleaning, we need to gather information pertaining specifically to you and your mouth. Your first visit with us will include a comprehensive oral exam.

This detailed exam will form the basis of our relationship with your mouth.

What To Expect:

  • Review of both your medical and oral health
  • Discuss any concerns or questions you may have
  • Complete x-rays, digital pictures, a physical examination, and an oral cancer screening.

After this highly personalized exam, our staff will make every effort to complete a dental cleaning.

Depending on the presence and severity of any periodontal disease (gum disease), a more thorough cleaning may be necessary; if so, we will schedule an additional visit to do so.
